Meet Dr. McCall

G.Gibson McCall, III, DDS, MS

Dr. Gibson McCall is originally from Laurinburg, NC and attended the NC School of Science and Math for high school.  Dr. McCall, a Phi Beta Kappa selection as an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned his doctorate with honors at the UNC School of Dentistry where he received numerous awards for his academic and leadership accomplishments.  He practiced dentistry for seven years in his hometown before returning to UNC for his three-year orthodontic residency.  During this time, Dr. McCall was selected to serve as liaison between the orthodontic residents and the faculty, was awarded the Ann and G. Randolph Babcock Fellowship, and received a grant from the Southern Association of Orthodontists for his research endeavors. Dr. McCall graduated with a Masters of Science and a certificate in orthodontics.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a certifying body that honors orthodontists who provide only the highest standards of orthodontic care.  He is also an Adjunctive Clinical faculty member of the UNC School of Dentistry where he teaches the dental students clinical orthodontics.

Dr. McCall and his wife, Emi, live in Greenville with their two children, Mac and Eliza, and their dog, Avery.  Dr. McCall is a member of First Presbyterian Church here in Greenville and is serving as an Elder. He also is a member of the Rotary Club.  When he isn't creating beautiful smiles, Dr. McCall enjoys running, coaching soccer, reading and cheering for the Tar Heels and the Pirates.
